Events in the Cemetery for 2021

Hydrangea Day

Saturday, September 18 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

The public is invited to cut hydrangea stems from our 100+ year old plants in Hydrangea Circle. Cutting is only allowed in Hydrangea Circle, so follow the signs to this gorgeous area full of blooms. Please bring your own clippers. The cemetery will be following current state guidelines pertaining to Covid-19.

Additionally, there will be a display of pre-cut stems available to purchase on the grass near the West Parish Church. This is a free event, and donations are always welcome.

Fall Historic Walk

Saturday, September 18 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Join us for a guided walking tour through the historic West Parish Garden Cemetery and learn about the notable people buried here. The tour will include a look inside the Chapel at West Parish, which features original Tiffany stained-glass windows. This event is free and will happen rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and meet at the Arch at 129 Reservation Road in Andover, across from West Parish Church.

Parts of the walk are handicap accessible, including the Chapel.
